Hello everybody! My name is Kristian Kohle, head of Kohlekeller Studios in Germany.
I have been recording, producing and mixing music for almost twenty years and have worked with countless bands from rock to the most extreme metal.
This includes bands like Powerwolf, Benighted, Crematory, Eskimo Callboy, Lacrimas Profundere, Hämatom, Agathodaimon and many others.

Albums produced at Kohlekeller Studio have entered the European album and American billboard charts many times including one #1 album in Germany and a Gold Record in Czech republic.

I’m very happy, proud and nervous at the same time to join the Nail The Mix family and I’m looking forward to revisit the Aborted mix in Orlando in February!

I’ll show you all my ideas and tricks and I hope you guys will have lots of questions. The main approach was to keep things simple and natural. Just to do what’s needed to create the right atmosphere. I hope you guys wanna join this trip into modern, extreme metal!
