Recorded in various locations in Zimbabwe in April 2018 these recordings from diff session musicians and artists span the sound of 2,000 year old Shona music being played today. The Mbira is a finger piano of incredible depth and texture. Also featured are field recordings of the jungle, distant vocals from a Pygmy tribe, and an incredible earth bow string instrument that has never been released before.
