Inspired by Jazz-Rap/Golden Era Hip Hop samples from the early 90’s that contained so many instruments chopped up from vinyl. The Soul Surplus team intentionally crafted smooth yet gritty loops that are full of musicality and instrumentation giving ode to a time that was all about sampling.

You’ll have access to over half a gig of sound containing more than 150 melodic loops, and stems, as well as over 200 one shots! Everything from guitars, keyboards and synths, to drums and even a special trumpet appearance on the loops give so many possibilities for creating—all played by our in house team of professional musicians. Finally for authentic texture we had samples processed through a tape machine, as well as having some instrumentalists cut to tape, for added vintage warmth. Whether you need a song starter or specific instruments to add to your personal sound library, this release is perfect for expanding the range of any producer’s arsenal of sounds.
