t.y.jake is a Boston based producer currently studying at Berklee College of Music. A classically trained tuba player raised on wide array of music from funk and disco to classic rock, he started producing at the age of 16. His samples showcase a proficiency on a litany of instruments – from vibraphones, horns, guitars, upright bass, pianos, voices and percussion the tracks range from low-key, downtempo pieces around 80bpm, to absolute burners clocking in at over 170.

The layers here run deep and each piece has its own identity, a window into a musical world Jake continues to build and grow, and we’re excited to get to share this new volume with you.
